Local Bike Trail Maps
Delaware Greenways
Delaware Greenways was organized in the early 1990’s during a land conservation movement, which resulted in the creation of the Northern Delaware Greenway Trail. Our advocacy for trails – and scenic byways has continued since then.
By creating trail connections, we are opening safe bicycle and pedestrian travel for recreation and transportation. Needs we found even greater in 2020, and today, then ever before. Our byways provide a way for travelers to take routes that allow exploration of each city and town along the way. Time spent discovering these roads less traveled, enriches all who travel them.

Local Bike Clubs
White Clay Bicycle Club
The White Clay Bicycle Club (WCBC) was established in 1973 and currently consists of approximately 400 cyclists. We have a rich history of reaching out to the community to promote safe recreational bicycling activities; offering cyclists multiple opportunities to engage in, develop, and grow in the sport of cycling; and advocating the rights of bicyclists on a local, state and national level. We come in all shapes, sizes and abilities with one very important factor in common – a love of cycling! We are daily riders and commuters, weekend and occasional riders, and even non-riders. We exist to promote cycling in the Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania tri-state area with the majority of our members residing in New Castle County, Delaware. What keeps us all going is our enthusiasm for health, camaraderie, the love of the outdoors and a desire to learn and share knowledge about our sport.

How to take Proper Bike Photos
Taking a Picture of your Bike 101
Squatting properly and stepping up your squat game when taking pictures of your bike is crucial for capturing the best shots and ensuring the overall quality of your photographs. By maintaining a correct squatting position, you can achieve several benefits. Firstly, it allows you to align yourself at the same level as the bike, creating a more engaging and dynamic perspective. This perspective accentuates the bike's details, lines, and features, making the photograph visually appealing and captivating. Additionally, stepping up your squat game helps to stabilize your body, resulting in sharper images free from blurriness caused by camera shake. It also enables you to frame the bike within the surrounding environment effectively, providing context and enhancing the overall composition. Ultimately, mastering the squat game while photographing your bike can elevate the visual impact of your pictures, showcasing the bike's beauty and craftsmanship in the best possible way.
